Mark Mischbaugh was the son of  August Misbaugh and Christena Michalk.  Both of his parents were born in Germany. He was born around 1864 in Pennsylvania. 

On the 1870 U. S. Census, Mark was approximately 6 years old and was living with his family in Killbuck Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.  

On the 1880 U. S. Census, Mark was listed under the name of Max Mischbauch in Kilbuck Township. In 1880 at the age of 16, Mark was an apprentice to a baker.

The 1890 U. S. Census data was destroyed in a fire.  

We have been unable to locate a record of him after 1880 when he was 16.
