Clara B. Mischbaugh (1860-1950)

Clara Mischbaugh was the daughter of  Augusta Mischbaugh and Christena Michalk.  We believe her middle name was Bertha.  Both of her parents had immigrated from Germany. She was born in 31 January 1860 in Rochester, Pennsylvania.  She died 21 April 1950 in Los Angeles, California.  She was married to Alphonso Wilson Smith.  According to the "Genealogical and personal history of western Pennsylvania", Alphonso and Clara were married in 1881.

On the 1870 U. S. Census, she was listed as Clarra Misbaugh.

On the 1880 U. S. Census, Clara's last name was listed as Mischbauch.

The 1890 U. S. Census data was destroyed.

Sometime between 1920 and 1930, Clara and Alphonso moved to California.

In the 1930 Census, Alphonso and Clara have the daughter Dorothy B Hazlett living with them.
