Mabel M. Mischbaugh (1886-)

Mabel Mischbaugh was the daughter of William Mischbaugh and Anna M. She was born around 1886 in Pennsylvania. She was married to Philip Sheridan Mercer on 3 March 1920 in Ben Avon, Pennsylvania. She was about 34 years old at the time and Philip was about 36.

In the 1900 Census, Mabel is 14 years old and living with her parents. Also listed on this census is William R. Mischbaugh who is four years old and was born in April 1896. William R. Mischbaugh is the son of Oswald Mischbaugh. They both live in the same neighborhood.

In the 1910 U.S. Census, at the age of 24, Mable is living with her parents. Her sister and brother-in-law, Lottie and Raymond McCleary are living a few houses down from them. Mable is working as a stenographer.

In the 1920 U.S. Census, Mabel is living with her mother and father and she is working as a stenographer in a hospital.

In the 1930 U.S. Census, Mabel and Philip are living in South Fayette, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. They are famers on their own farm. Cliff Buchanan is a 14 year old boarder living with them. There is no record of them having any children.
