John Misbaugh was the son of  Unknown and Unknown.  He was born around 1843 in Baden, Germany (Deutschland).  He died on 11 October 1914 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  In the 1870 U. S. Census he was listed as a butcher living in Cleveland Ward 6, Cuyahoga, Ohio.  In the 1910 U. S. Census it is listed that he arrived in the United States in 1867.

A Sofann Fouler was also living with John Misbaugh during the 1870 Census.  He was born i1842 and had been born in Baden as well.  He too was a butcher.

In the 1880 U. S. Census it appears that John's last name is now spelled Missbach.

We haven't been able to determine if there is a relationship to our family line but we have included him due to the spelling of his name. He could be a possible link to the family.

We were able to find a Adams Misbaugh in the 1870 U. S. Census who was living in Harrison in Ohio under the 1870 Census.  We do not know if they were related or not.
