John C. Mischbaugh was the youngest son of  Oswald Mischbaugh and Amanda Mischbaugh.  He was born in 1899 probably somewhere around December.

John was listed in the May dated 1900 U. S. Federal Census as being six months old.  By the 1910 U. S. Federal Census, John is no longer listed.  He would have been approximately 10 years old.  Given that he is no longer listed with his family, it is highly likely that he died sometime between 1900 and 1910.
