Raymond William McCleary (1879-)

Raymond McCleary was the son of Unknown McCleary (born in New York) and unknown mother (born in Pennsylvania).  He was born 13 September 1879 in Pennsylvania.  Raymond was married to Lottie Virginia Mischbaugh on 4 August 1904 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  He was 22 years old at the time and Lottie was 22.

 

In the 1910 U. S. Census Lottie and Raymond McCleary are living in Ben Avon, Allegheny, Pennsylvania with their daughters Virginia and Marion.   William and Anna her parents are living a few houses down from them.  Raymond is working as a proofreader in a newspaper.

 

In the 1920 U. S. Census, Lottie is listed as living at Avalon Ward 1, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  She is shown as the head of the household but she is shown as being married.  Living with her are her daughters Virginia and Marion.  Lottie is working as a clerk in a grocery wholesale business.  The only information we can find for Raymond is his World War I Draft Registration Card dated 1918.

 

In the 1930 U.S. Census, Lottie is listed as living with her father and sister Esther in Ben Avon, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  Lottie was 48 years old at the time.  She is listed as a widow and her father is listed as a widower.  She is working as a clerk in a canned goods business.

 

Gong from the information in the census, Raymond and Anna died sometime between the 1920 and 1930.

  • Marion A. McCleary (1908-)
