John Garner (1633-1702)
John Garner was the son of Richard Garner and Katharn. Katharn's maiden name is not know. John was born around 1633 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England and died around 1702 in Westmoreland County, Virginia. John was baptised on 2 Sep 1634 at St. Chad's Church, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. He married Susanna Keene.

Westmoreland County, Virginia was named for the county in England, Westmoreland. Westmoreland County was formed in July 1653 from the northern area of Northumberland. A portion of King George was added later.
