Emma Bishop was the daughter of James Norval Bishop and Mary Jane Womack.  Her birth name could have been Mary Emma Bishop. She was born 1 September 1873 in Simpson County, Mississippi and died 31 August 1945 in Mississippi.  She was married to Hiram D. Berry. They married on 22 December 1892 in Simpson County, Mississippi.

 From what we can tell, Emma Bishop married after Hiram passed away.  We found her with her children around 1920 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.  It listed her as widowed going by the name of Carlisle.  She was buried in Pinola, Simpson County, Mississippi in the Bishop Cemetery..
