James Norval Halle was the son of Howard Halle and Colah Alice Bishop.  He was born 19 January 1914 in Pinola, Simpson County, Mississippi and died on 6 June 1995 in Richland, Rankin County, Mississippi. He was married to Bonnie Bess Sheppard.  Bonnie Sheppard died in 1943 and James later married Nettie Cecycle Rainer.

James Norval Halle is on the left.  Royce Leon Halle the tallest child in back & Hugh Wallace Halle in front. Hugh is the youngest.
