Martha Dandridge (1731-1802)
Martha Dandridge was married to George
Washington, the first president of the
United States. She was the daughter of
John Dandridge and Frances Jones. She
was born on 21 June 1731 on a plantation
near Williamsburg, Virginia and died on 22
May 1802 in Mount Vernon
Fairfax County, Virginia. Martha's
first marriage was to Daniel Park Custis on
15 May 1750. Daniel Custis died on 8
July 1757 in New Kent County, Virginia.
In 1759 Martha married George Washington and
remained with him until is death in 1799.
George Washington had no children. He
married Martha Dandridge in 1759.

- Eleanor Custis
- Daniel Parke Custis Jr.
- Frances Parke Custis
- John Park Custis
- Martha "Patsy" Parke Custis
